Senior Internal Auditor – Construction & Real Estate

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will support the Director of Internal Audit in planning, executing, and overseeing audit engagements across our construction and real‑estate operations. This role ensures that risk management, internal controls, and governance processes are robust and aligned with group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing audit strategies to improve controls and minimize risks.
• Conduct operational audits according to the annual audit plan and meet engagement objectives.
• Draft comprehensive audit reports, summarize findings, obtain management responses, and issue final reports.
• Track remediation efforts and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate with management to design solutions for identified risks or control gaps.
• Prepare detailed work papers documenting testing results and conclusions.
• Support audit planning by gathering information and identifying key risk areas.
• Monitor audit progress and provide regular updates to the Director of Internal Audit.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in construction or real‑estate.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
