Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical maintenance activities for a power generation plant, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance of all electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety focus and promote safe practices for the team.
• Evaluate equipment performance and maintenance costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop, review, and execute planned maintenance (PM) activities for control systems.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as‑built drawings, and manage Material and Operations Changes (MOC).
• Troubleshoot plant issues, conduct failure analysis, and lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) processes.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, including scheduled, outage, and emergency work.
• Prepare spare‑part lists, failure reports, and maintenance reports as required.
• Organize and archive electrical documents, drawings, software files, and test sheets.
• Write project scopes and material specifications.
• Record weekly man‑hour commitments and report monthly project inputs.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in electrical maintenance for power plants.
• Proven ability to lead a team and take responsibility for electrical fault resolution.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
