Senior Asset Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to lead the performance and operations of its equity and commercial ownership in oil and gas properties. The role provides overall responsibility for investment performance, field development projects and regional asset oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize existing asset net present value (NPV) through prudent decisions on operations, investments, development and technology improvements.
• Identify, scope, evaluate and acquire new oil and gas assets, managing opportunity identification, commercialization, drilling and development to secure equity or commercial ownership.
• Lead Asset Operations and multidisciplinary teams of geoscientists and engineers, ensuring effective field management and development.
• Accountable to Halliburton Executive Management for planning, budgeting, and P&L performance, with strict adherence to ethical, safety, environmental and compliance standards.
• Oversee external funding arrangements and maximize Halliburton PSL content in asset transactions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geoscience.
• Minimum 20 years of industry experience covering oil and gas deal structuring, commercialization, accounting, on‑shore and off‑shore asset management, reservoir and production engineering, well construction, re‑completions/workovers, and geoscience interpretation.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring senior technical and non‑technical managers.
• Superior presentation abilities and formal project‑management training.
• Experience in unconventional plays and offshore shelf areas.
