About the role

A leading FMCG, cosmetics and personal care company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth across Iraq and Syria. You will be responsible for developing market strategies, expanding the distributor network and leading a sales team to meet ambitious revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute country‑specific sales strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts and strategic partners.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and oversee their execution.
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Manage the sales budget, forecast performance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and other functions to support product launches and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in FMCG, cosmetics or personal care.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
