Sales Executive – Direct Sales, Baghdad

About the role

URUK is hiring a Sales Executive for its Digital Transformation unit, based at the Sinaa showroom in Baghdad. The role develops and manages direct sales opportunities across Baghdad and the Middle Region of Iraq, promoting five business lines: MPS, MDS, MSS, Production Printing and Office Equipment. It focuses on acquiring new enterprise, government and SMB customers, building a strong sales pipeline and reaching sales targets; dealer-channel sales are excluded.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
• Promote and sell UDT's products and managed services.
• Build and maintain relationships with enterprise, government and SMB customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers, and negotiate and close deals.
• Manage the sales pipeline, customer follow-ups and sales forecasts through the CRM system.
• Understand managed-services models, including CPP, SLAs and fleet management.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT services, office technology or managed services.
• Knowledge of enterprise and government procurement processes in Iraq.
• An established Basra network, especially in oil and gas, ports, banking or government, is an advantage.
• Arabic fluency and English proficiency required.
