Sales Agent – Ceramic & Porcelain Tiles

About the role

Ramirro Ceramica, an Indian manufacturer and exporter of porcelain and ceramic tiles, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Agent for its Baghdad office. The agent identifies and approaches importers, distributors, architects and developers, presents the product portfolio and generates new business. The company serves clients in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential importers, distributors, architects and developers, and present the product portfolio
• Build and maintain client relationships and manage inquiries and orders
• Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, logistics and product specifications
• Follow up on leads and orders promptly
• Conduct product demonstrations, understand client project needs and give tailored recommendations
• Support customers through the sales cycle to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategy

Required profile

• Proven sales skills, ideally in tiles, building materials or related construction and interior design sectors
• Prior experience in B2B sales, export or distribution, or working with architects and developers is an advantage
• Experience with insurance or project-related risk considerations is beneficial for large export transactions
• Ability to train or orient customers, distributors and internal stakeholders
• Good knowledge of the Baghdad market; familiarity with regional construction and design trends preferred
• Self-motivated, target-driven, able to work on-site, visit clients and travel within the region
