Road Safety Ranger

About the role

The Road Safety Ranger will support KBR’s Majnoon project by improving road safety, raising awareness of safe transport operations, and ensuring compliance with Majnoon Road Safety Standards, policies, procedures and local HSSE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and support for road‑safety activities throughout project implementation.
• Implement risk controls, work procedures and training to manage road‑safety performance.
• Monitor, report and enforce compliance with Majnoon Road Safety Standards, Life‑Saving Rules and international best practices.
• Work closely with contractors and drivers to change behaviour and improve safety culture.
• Deliver leadership and development for the Road Safety team and respond to reports of poor driving behaviour.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and with a local national workforce.
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional stability and a self‑starter, “can‑do” attitude.
• Experience influencing contractors in low HSE‑culture settings and developing their safety systems.
• Motivated leader capable of building trust with contractors and drivers.
