Project Security Manager

About the role

Al Murabit Security (AMS) is seeking a highly skilled Project Security Manager to lead security operations for a high‑profile international client in Iraq. The role operates on a six‑week on, six‑week off rotational basis and requires strong operational leadership in a challenging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective management and oversight of all project security operations, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Lead personnel and resources, maintain client relationships, and uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and operational performance.

Required profile

• Formal Close Protection Qualification certified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ military or armed police background.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a management role.
• Medical qualification – minimum FPOS‑I or equivalent.
• Strong ability to work effectively with both local and international personnel.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Clean criminal record check (renewable every 12 months).
• Medical fitness assessment confirming ability to work in Iraq.
