Retail Salesperson (Textile)

About the role
Parley Textile is looking for a full‑time Retail Salesperson to join its store in Sulaymaniyah. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right textile and fabric products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, assess their needs and recommend suitable textile products.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
- Maintain attractive store displays, replenish stock and keep the sales floor tidy.
- Handle returns, exchanges and customer inquiries in line with store policies.
- Support promotional activities and merchandising initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
Required profile
- Strong retail sales ability with a focus on customer needs.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Willingness to learn product details and stay updated on inventory.
- Ability to stand for long periods, perform light lifting and keep the store organized.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and peak retail hours.
