Reservoir Engineering Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Reservoir Engineering Advisor to join Halliburton’s Integrated Asset Management team in Basra, Iraq. The role involves applying advanced reservoir engineering techniques to evaluate and develop large, complex oil and gas field projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform historical offset well performance evaluation and production decline curve analysis.
• Determine reservoir rock and fluid properties and conduct deterministic and probabilistic volumetric calculations.
• Develop static reservoir models and run dynamic reservoir simulations.
• Analyze well test data and support field development and redevelopment planning.
• Provide recommendations for production enhancement, EUR and recovery efficiency analysis, and forecast future production performance.
• Prepare preliminary economic analyses and other reservoir‑related studies.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of reservoir engineering experience, preferably with an oil & gas operator.
