Reporting Specialist – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

LC Waikiki is seeking a Reporting Specialist to join its finance team in Erbil. You will be responsible for preparing, analysing and presenting periodic management reports, supporting budgeting processes and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, treasury, etc.) following company guidelines.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and produce budget variance analyses.
• Monitor daily accounting records, ensure accuracy and compliance with local GAAP.
• Analyse inventory processes, support stock‑taking reconciliations and recommend improvements.
• Report treasury costs, develop cost‑reduction action plans, and manage bank guarantee procedures.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, provisions and P&L cost reflections.
• Maintain internal finance controls and optimise the reporting system.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports for headquarters and the Country Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance.
• 5‑6 years of experience in a similar reporting role; retail experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset with high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
