Recruitment Specialist

About the role

Alhasani Home Center is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Specialist to join its HR team in Baghdad. The role focuses on end‑to‑end talent acquisition, strategic sourcing, and strengthening the employer brand for one of Iraq’s leading home‑furnishing retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Draft compelling job ads and select optimal channels, including social networks and professional platforms.
• Coordinate internal mobility, promotions, and transfers.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone screens and structured face‑to‑face interviews.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Track recruitment metrics (source of hire, time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire) and manage recruitment budget.
• Facilitate offer presentation, negotiation, and onboarding.
• Represent the company at job fairs and career events to enhance employer branding.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of proven recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of local labor market trends and legislation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Experience using professional networking tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
