About the role
Lead Counselors is looking for a strategic and dynamic Public Relations & Strategic Communications Manager to shape the firm’s reputation, media presence and institutional relationships in Iraq and abroad. The role works closely with the Managing Partner to position the firm as a leading litigation and corporate law practice and as Iraq’s first AI‑powered law firm.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual PR and brand positioning strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Draft, distribute and monitor press releases, building relationships with journalists and business media.
- Coordinate weekly LinkedIn content, oversee SEO‑oriented website insights, and create confidential case studies and success stories.
- Prepare executive speeches, presentations and manage bilingual/trilingual communications (English, Arabic, Kurdish).
- Strengthen ties with chambers of commerce, trade associations and support participation in conferences and business forums.
- Design crisis communication protocols, advise leadership on high‑risk situations and protect the firm’s reputation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field.
- 3–7 years of professional PR experience.
- Fluent in English (mandatory), Arabic and Kurdish.
- Excellent writing, strategic thinking, discretion and confidentiality awareness.
