Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and works within a multi‑discipline Asset Operations Team to optimise production from unconventional plays and mature oil and gas fields. The role combines technical analysis, field operations and continuous improvement to maximise daily output while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production history, well files, decline‑curve and nodal data to estimate remaining reserves and identify workover or recompletion candidates.
• Select, design and implement production technologies such as completion systems, artificial‑lift equipment and enhanced‑recovery techniques.
• Oversee daily field operations, including well performance optimisation, water disposal, chemical injection, water‑flood management and artificial‑lift monitoring.
• Evaluate and approve equipment or procedural modifications to improve safety, efficiency and reliability, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards.
• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, production geologists and field personnel, maintaining strong communication and teamwork.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, geology or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in oil and gas production, with a proven track record of managing complex field operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
