Petrophysics Advisor

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Petrophysics Advisor to join a senior, multi‑discipline petrotechnical team. You will develop and apply advanced formation‑evaluation techniques to support large, complex oil and gas field development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of formation‑evaluation data for Technical Asset Team assessments.
• Integrate information from open and cased‑hole well logs, mud logs, sidewall and full cores, pressure tests, fluid samples, mini‑fracs, and geochemical analyses.
• Conduct advanced geomechanics evaluations, including wellbore stability, pore pressure prediction, stress analysis, and mechanical property determination.
• Support senior management in defining standardized best‑practice processes for evaluation, well engineering, and field‑development planning.
• Participate in brainstorming workshops, prepare technical publications, and present findings to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering or geology.
• Minimum 10 years of petrophysical evaluation experience in oil & gas operators, service firms, or consulting.
• Proven ability to work across Halliburton product service lines and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
