Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will join MATEEN express & logistics in Baghdad to support daily logistics and operational activities. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures shipments are coordinated, deliveries tracked, and all operational data is accurately recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments and monitor delivery status.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform data entry for all logistics processes.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and partners to resolve issues and provide updates.
• Assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and administrative tasks for warehouse and transport operations.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities to track operations and interpret data.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with customers, teams, and external partners.
• Knowledge of operations management principles, including logistics coordination, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and manage expectations.
• Administrative competence, including accurate data entry and document management.
• Ability to work on‑site in Baghdad, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination; experience in the Middle East market is a plus.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• Working proficiency in English and local languages is beneficial.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
