About the role

AUIB is looking for a dynamic faculty member in Biology to deliver high‑quality, student‑centered education and contribute to research and curriculum development. The position involves teaching both core and advanced courses and fostering an inclusive academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, histology and biochemistry.
• Supervise laboratory sessions and guide student projects.
• Participate in departmental and programmatic planning and preparation.
• Adhere to university policies, rules and regulations governing teaching and community interactions.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of post‑secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a student‑centered approach.
• Commitment to mentoring, diversity, collaboration and innovation.
