Network Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Network Security Specialist to protect the bank’s IT infrastructure and critical data. The role involves implementing robust cybersecurity controls, monitoring security events, and defending against emerging threats while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain cybersecurity strategies, policies, standards and procedures.
• Align security controls with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor security events, analyze logs and identify threats, vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability evaluations and recommend mitigation measures.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, investigation, remediation and post‑incident analysis.
• Perform security audits, reviews and assessments to verify compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Support secure network, server and infrastructure operations and collaborate with IT teams.
• Evaluate, recommend and help implement security tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• Relevant experience in network security and cybersecurity within a large organization.
