About the role
SOSi is seeking an experienced Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs Advisor to provide senior‑level advice to Iraqi Ministry leadership and support USMILGP‑Iraq ministerial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Advise senior officials and assist USMILGP‑Iraq in managing ministerial‑level advisory activities.
- Develop engagement strategies, facilitate decision‑making, and build professional relationships with ministry and government agencies.
- Provide reports, briefings, and recommendations on civil‑military integration and governance practices.
- Plan and manage operational and administrative schedules, track priorities, and optimize resources to meet ministry requirements.
Required profile
- Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Fluent in Arabic, English and Kurdish (Krudish) with strong written and verbal communication.
- Extensive experience with U.S. forces in Iraq since 2011 and deep knowledge of Iraqi Ministry of Defense structures.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
