Microsoft Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise our Microsoft‑based infrastructure across headquarters and remote sites. The role ensures stability, security and high performance of servers, operating systems and related IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft systems, servers and related infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Install, configure and manage Windows Server environments and core Microsoft services.
• Administer physical and virtual servers across multiple locations.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates and patch management.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage data storage, backup systems and ensure data integrity and recovery readiness.
• Install and configure new hardware and software systems.
• Evaluate and manage the lifecycle of IT equipment, including reuse or disposal.
• Maintain and monitor backup and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement upgrades.
• Prepare periodic reports on system performance and incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2–6 years of overall IT experience, with a focus on Microsoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery concepts.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and system hardening.
