Medical Representative - Najaf

About the role

Acino pharmaceutical company, part of Arcera, a global life sciences group, is hiring full-time Medical Representatives for its Najaf territory. The roles are based in Hilla and report directly to First Line Managers. They are responsible for achieving agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within a territory and for building scientific-based relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed contact, coverage and frequency targets (quantity and quality) through face-to-face meetings and detailing of assigned doctors and pharmacists, within budget.
• Meet or exceed sales targets (sales growth and market share growth) within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Promote defined Acino products according to campaign briefs and policies, using brand visuals such as detail aids, brand reminders and medical references.
• Visit HCPs in hospitals, polyclinics and pharmacies regularly to build scientific-based relationships.
• Ensure doctors, HCPs and KOLs receive the right message, information and clinical studies.
• Identify business opportunities and respond to competitive activity, recommending counter-actions to protect market position.
• Take part in daily and weekly meetings to review the market, problems faced and progress against monthly KPIs, and monitor competitors' activities, medical conferences and round tables.
• Map decision-making networks among targeted HCPs and execute AVA local and international conferences and meetings with healthcare professionals.
• Handle samples professionally and maintain proper storage conditions from receipt to delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and ID Syndicate of Pharmacists.
• 0-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Outstanding sales acumen and business aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and influencing ability, with a high degree of customer focus.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
