Medical Doctor – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

WECO is seeking a qualified Doctor to join its on‑site medical team in Kirkuk. The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care, from initial assessment through treatment and follow‑up, while supporting emergency and occupational health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and diagnose a wide range of conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring proper follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality care.
• Participate in health‑education programs and community outreach.
• Provide medical support during emergency situations and field operations.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a valid license to practice in Iraq.
• Strong experience in emergency medical services, occupational health, and diagnostic testing.
• Certified in AHA‑approved medical training or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly advantageous.
