Medical Doctor – Full‑time Clinical Position

About the role

The Emergency World Company for Medical Services & Health Insurance (WECO) is seeking a qualified Doctor to join its Al‑Mansouriyah, Diyala clinic on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality patient care, conduct clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical examinations and assess patient health status.
• Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses and prescribe evidence‑based treatments.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in emergency response and critical‑care situations.
• Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, preventive measures, and follow‑up care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBChB, MD or equivalent) with a valid Iraqi medical license.
• Strong clinical competence in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient evaluation.
• Experience in emergency medicine and critical‑care management is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care, empathy, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent.
