Makeup Artist Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Makeup Artist Trainer to join our team in Baghdad. In this on‑site position you will design and deliver both practical and theoretical training sessions that elevate the makeup skills of our retail and beauty staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop training curricula, materials and workshops covering makeup application techniques, product knowledge and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate makeup looks for a variety of occasions and guide trainees through hands‑on practice.
• Conduct skills assessments, provide constructive feedback and organise refresher sessions to keep staff up‑to‑date with trends and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales and store management to ensure visual standards, customer experience and brand representation on the shop floor.
• Maintain training records, schedule sessions and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Strong background in cosmetology with proven expertise in makeup application.
• Proficiency in hair styling to complement complete makeover services.
• Demonstrated ability to design curricula, lead group sessions and coach individuals.
• Experience working as a makeup artist, beauty consultant or trainer in retail or salon environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, hygienic approach to customer interactions.
