Maintenance Supervisor – Instrumentation (PA‑GA & ICSS)

About the role

Eni is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation) for its Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. The role is responsible for planning, scheduling and overseeing maintenance of public address‑general alarm (PA‑GA) systems and ICSS data transmission networks to minimise downtime and ensure safe plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse work requests for PA‑GA and instrumentation data transmission networks and define the scope of work.
• Allocate resources – manpower, materials, tools and contractors – and verify material availability for scheduled tasks.
• Execute weekly work scheduling and distribute tasks to relevant units.
• Perform fault detection and corrective maintenance on ICSS networks, loudspeaker systems, beacons, microphones, structured cabling, fibre‑optic cables, patch panels, routers and switches.
• Supervise and coordinate contractor activities and provide feedback to improve maintenance plans.
• Evaluate technical offers for services or materials and ensure tools are adequate and serviceable.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electronics, Telecom or Automation.
• Proven experience in the oil & gas industry with instrumentation, telecom or PA‑GA system installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of international standards applicable to telecom networks and PA‑GA systems.
