IT & Telecom Construction Supervisor

About the role

The IT & Telecom Construction Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day telecom construction activities across greenfield and brownfield sites at the Majnoon Oil Field. The role ensures safe execution, technical compliance, and alignment with project cost, schedule, and quality targets while coordinating closely with Engineering, HSE, Construction, and C&P teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce KBR and project HSE standards, including confined space entry, lifting, electrical safety, and cable installation.
• Supervise installation, configuration, testing, and preservation of telecom systems such as fiber optic networks, structured cabling, radio systems, CCTV, access control systems, PIDs, and voice/data/video networks.
• Review vendor test results for fiber and network performance, reporting any deviations.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Support construction strategies for both greenfield and brownfield scopes and coordinate integration of telecom infrastructure with overall construction plans.
• Maintain accurate progress reporting, documentation, and participate in constructability reviews.
• Identify technical issues and work with engineering and contractors to resolve them promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising telecom construction projects in oil‑field or similar industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices and ability to conduct inspections, toolbox talks, and risk mitigation planning.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage contractor performance.
