Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation)

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor (Instrumentation) will be based in Iraq on a 28/28 rotational schedule for a two‑year contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is within the oil & gas sector and requires hands‑on supervision of instrumentation, telecom and public address systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse approved PA‑GA and instrument data transmission network work requests and define the scope of work.
• Allocate necessary resources – manpower, materials, tools and contractors – and verify material availability for scheduled tasks.
• Execute weekly work scheduling and distribute tasks to relevant units.
• Lead fault detection and remediation on ICSS data transmission networks, PA‑GA systems, structured cabling, fiber‑optic links and network equipment such as routers and switches.
• Supervise contractor activities, review work feedback and drive improvements in maintenance plans and processes.
• Evaluate technical offers for services or materials and ensure all tools and equipment are fit for use.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electronic, Telecom or Automation engineering.
• Proven experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically with instrument, telecom and PA‑GA system installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with international standards applicable to telecom networks and PA‑GA systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work on‑site in remote, rotational environments.
