Legal Director

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Director to lead all legal matters across the organization. The role requires strong corporate governance, litigation management, and strategic partnership with senior leadership. The successful candidate will act as the primary legal advisor and risk manager for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior leadership on regulatory, commercial and corporate matters.
• Lead corporate governance, ensuring compliance with board, shareholder and statutory requirements.
• Manage all litigation, including civil, labor, tax, regulatory and commercial disputes.
• Oversee relationships with external counsel, government authorities and other stakeholders.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, corporate documents and legal instruments.
• Monitor legal developments and ensure ongoing compliance across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree (master’s or additional qualifications a plus) with 10+ years of corporate, commercial and litigation experience.
• Previous in‑house counsel experience in a multinational or international organization.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, compliance frameworks and risk management.
• Proven leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
