Key Accounts Operations Lead Associate

About the role

The Key Accounts Operations Lead Associate will manage day‑to‑day client account activities for the National Bank of Iraq. Working closely with Relationship Managers, the role ensures smooth processing of account openings, upgrades, downgrades and the issuance of debit and credit cards while maintaining compliance and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process client account openings, upgrades, downgrades and coordinate timely issuance of debit and credit cards.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers, including preparation of compliance documentation and account archiving.
• Maintain and track Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor operational metrics and key performance indicators.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and service quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Compliance, IT and Risk to resolve issues and sustain smooth operations.
• Supervise the operations team to meet KPIs and act as a quality checker on systems and processes.

Required profile

• Experience supervising an operations team and assisting front‑line staff and Relationship Managers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to act as a quality checker on processes.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected developments.
