Key Account Manager – Baghdad

About the role

AFC MENA is expanding its presence in Iraq and seeks a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive business development in Baghdad. You will act as the bridge between international industrial partners and local manufacturers, delivering solutions across polymers trading, injection molding, and recycling equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts in the plastics, injection molding, and recycling sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a strong local client network.
• Conduct on‑site client visits across Baghdad and surrounding industrial zones.
• Support technical and commercial proposals in coordination with AFC headquarters and international partners.
• Represent AFC MENA at industry events, trade fairs, and networking meetings.
• Report on market trends, client needs, and pipeline progress.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably B2B or technical/industrial.
• Fluent Arabic and working proficiency in English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Baghdad.
• Self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from the ground up.

Required skills

• Knowledge of polymers and plastics materials.
• Understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with recycling machinery and technologies.
