International Financial Management Consultant

About the role

KABOOM Database Solutions is seeking an International Financial Management Consultant to support a leading Iraqi conglomerate in preparing for cross‑border expansion. The consultant will conduct a high‑level strategic assessment of the client’s financial, governance and operational readiness, and deliver actionable recommendations to align the organization with international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a rapid assessment of the client’s current corporate governance, financial management, internal controls, risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Interview senior leadership and designated focal points to gather insights on existing processes and capabilities.
• Identify gaps and institutional requirements needed for successful international growth.
• Prepare an executive strategic presentation outlining required reforms, systems, and governance arrangements.
• Develop a prioritized action plan and a detailed strategic direction for subsequent institutional strengthening initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial management, corporate governance and internal control consulting.
• Proven track record of advising large, diversified organizations on international expansion.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings to senior executives.
