International Education Consultant

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development (SRD) Center is seeking an International Education Consultant to provide technical assistance for an education strategic planning and development programme in Iraq. The assignment will involve approximately three months of fieldwork starting at the end of August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of the design report and evaluate the thematic section of the country programme.
• Collect and analyse data during the design and field phases.
• Participate in debriefing meetings and deliver quality inputs on time.
• Draft key parts of the design report and the final evaluation report.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience implementing education projects and producing technical documents.
• Demonstrated expertise in emergency or conflict‑affected education projects.
• Experience working in conflict or post‑conflict environments and collaborating with NGOs, government agencies, and local communities.
• Proven ability to conduct autonomous field‑based data collection.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in French or Arabic.
