Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

The Internal Audit Specialist will support Sardar Group by executing audit assignments across its branches, ensuring operational practices are followed, documentation is accurate, and internal controls are effective. The role contributes to compliance with audit standards and drives continuous improvement through findings and policy recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor branch activities to verify that managers and staff follow proper procedures and provide appropriate customer service.
• Conduct audits in line with the approved Audit Program and Working Papers, documenting findings on audit forms.
• Research discrepancies, operational problems, and sales issues, comparing records with accounting entries.
• Review and approve audit documentation, ensuring findings are tracked and addressed.
• Suggest updates to policies and procedures to meet current legislation.
• Analyze, develop, and recommend new internal control systems, including technology‑based solutions.
• Report strengths and weaknesses to audit management and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Prepare written and verbal reports for senior audit team members.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, ensuring audit standards and regulatory requirements are met.
• Collaborate with internal audit leadership to design training programs for audit staff.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit or related financial audit functions.
• Ability to work independently in branch locations and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for reporting findings to senior management.
