Internal Audit – Daily Control Specialist

About the role

The Internal Audit – Daily Control Specialist ensures that all expense‑related transactions and payments at Sardar Group comply with internal policies and procedures. The role involves daily verification of advance and payment requests, identification of discrepancies, and escalation of findings to the Daily Control Section Head.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily reviews of financial and operational expense transactions for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor and verify that all payment requests are properly authorized, signed, and supported by original documents.
• Maintain audit checklists, daily control logs, and ensure proper filing of both soft and hard copy documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies, control weaknesses, or irregularities to the Section Head promptly.
• Assist in drafting internal audit reports, recommendations, and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Support periodic audits, special investigations, and fraud prevention activities.
• Verify post‑payment documentation, ensuring approvals are stamped “ORIGINAL” and “PAID”.
• Coordinate quarterly reconciliations with Tax, Social Security, Admin, Business Support, and Legal departments, obtaining discharge letters from relevant authorities.
• Conduct weekly reviews of open work‑in‑progress items in SAS, STA, and other Sardar Group entities.
• Review daily cash positions in company safes and branches against approved limits.
