Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database environments. You will work closely with IT and business teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical data platforms, primarily within a financial services context.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle software (11g, 12c, 19c) and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Configure, upgrade, and patch database instances, manage tablespaces, storage, and schema objects.
• Implement backup, restoration, and disaster‑recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
• Support high‑availability solutions such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
• Monitor database performance, integrity, and security; conduct tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
• Design and maintain disaster‑recovery arrangements and ensure compliance with policies and audit findings.
• Participate in the selection of IT solutions and services related to infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of IT technical experience in a major financial institution or banking‑solutions vendor, with at least 5 years in Oracle/SQL Server administration.
• Strong communication skills in French, English, and Arabic.
• Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional/Master and Azure Database Administrator Associate are highly valued.
• Good presentation and interpersonal abilities.
