About the role
We are seeking a native‑level Kurdish Language Specialist to support AI‑driven language projects. This remote, hourly contract role involves translating, editing, and annotating Kurdish content to improve model performance and user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish texts for accuracy and clarity.
- Provide linguistic analysis that informs AI understanding of Kurdish usage.
- Annotate and review datasets used for training and evaluating AI models.
- Develop and refine Kurdish language datasets aligned with project goals.
- Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish content across applications.
- Share insights on linguistic nuances and cultural context with cross‑functional teams.
- Act as a linguistic consultant for AI and language‑focused initiatives.
Required profile
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Kurdish with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and command of language conventions.
- Fluent in both Kurdish and English, written and spoken.
- Understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural context.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
