About the role
Zain Iraq is seeking a proactive HR Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the recruitment lifecycle and strengthen our talent pipeline. You will work closely with the HR department and hiring managers to attract, assess, and onboard qualified candidates for a variety of roles.
Key responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to the HR department’s strategy and objectives.
- Execute day‑to‑day HR activities, including posting vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Prepare and manage assessments, exit interviews, and end‑of‑service procedures.
- Generate periodic and ad‑hoc recruitment reports and analyses.
- Develop and update job descriptions and competency frameworks.
- Introduce innovative recruiting concepts to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with recruitment agencies and expand candidate sourcing through social media.
- Organize college recruitment initiatives, build internship pipelines, and supervise related activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 1 year in a talent acquisition role.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and customer‑service orientation.
