Head of Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The Head of Enterprise Architecture establishes the Bank's enterprise architecture vision and develops the strategic roadmap for its technology landscape and operations. The role aligns technology solutions and architectural decisions with the Bank's business objectives, identifies and enables new digital opportunities, and provides architectural leadership across business, information, solution and technology domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a long-term strategic roadmap for the Bank's IT systems and technology landscape.
• Establish and maintain enterprise architecture policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Lead the Enterprise Architecture function, define team responsibilities, monitor performance and build team capabilities.
• Oversee IT business continuity plans and prepare periodic performance reports, monitoring team SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor emerging technologies and collaborate with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technology solutions.
• Lead architecture design and modeling, work with solution architects, and run the Architecture Review Board.
• Communicate technology roadmaps, digital opportunities and digital strategy guidance to business stakeholders.
• Incorporate a customer experience perspective, define EA governance and decision-making authority, and balance risk with agility.
• Conduct gap analyses, lead IT investment roadmaps and IT environment assessments, and develop implementation plans.
• Build collaboration with the Transformation Office and software development teams, partner with implementation teams, and coordinate with infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or another relevant discipline.
• 8-14 years of overall professional experience, including at least 6 years in the field.
• Preferred: CISSP, CISM or CISA certification.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture roadmaps.
• Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions (VMware, Citrix).
• Business process modeling, performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Agile and Lean, and Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and team-development skills.
