Geology Advisor

About the role
Under the guidance of the Senior Geology Advisor and Integrated Asset Management senior leadership, the Geology Advisor joins a multi‑disciplinary petrotechnical team to apply advanced interpretation techniques for large, complex oil and gas field development projects.
Key responsibilities
- Validate existing geological interpretations and generate new products such as structure maps, isopach maps, cross‑sections and annotated bubble maps.
- Perform data analysis, mapping and 3‑D modeling to identify prospective basins, plays and trends.
- Support IAM senior management in defining standardized, best‑practice processes for prospect evaluation, well engineering and field development planning.
- Participate in formal brainstorming workshops with Halliburton technical resources to drive innovation.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in Geology or Geosciences.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production and new‑venture geology, including experience with an oil and gas operator.
