Flight Instructor (A330)

About the role

Al Shaheen Air Services is seeking a full‑time Flight Instructor for A330 aircraft to join its training team in Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. The role involves delivering both ground and in‑flight instruction to student pilots while upholding the highest safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑flight briefings, in‑flight training, and post‑flight debriefings for student pilots.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans covering core piloting skills, instrument procedures, and flight safety practices.
• Maintain accurate training records and assess student performance against competency criteria.
• Support the organization’s safety programs and participate in recurrent training activities.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure training activities comply with aviation regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Valid commercial pilot licence with an instructor rating (or local equivalent) and current medical certification.
• Demonstrated experience as a flight instructor or line pilot in a structured training environment.
• Strong command of English with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting and maintain professionalism under operational pressure.
