Field Doctor

About the role

The Field Doctor supports the delivery and coordination of medical services in the field, focusing on occupational health, emergency preparedness, and trauma response. Reporting to the Lead Doctor, the role ensures medical readiness and contributes to health and safety programs for staff and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the primary health‑care program for all personnel and ensure hygiene quality assurance on the Majnoon Oil Field.
• Manage all medical operations, including primary occupational health, emergency, and trauma care.
• Draft, maintain, and update health procedures and documentation in line with international standards and local legislation.
• Prepare activity plans, allocate manpower, and ensure execution of field procedures.
• Maintain GLMS systems with up‑to‑date fitness‑to‑work (FTW) information.
• Coordinate HRA follow‑up with SMEs to implement and review control measures.
• Implement FTW and return‑to‑work (RTW) programs, providing advice on fitness for duty.
• Provide guidance and training for emergency and occupational health staff and medical service providers.

Required profile

• Medical professional with experience in occupational health, emergency, and trauma care.
• Familiarity with health‑safety regulations, international standards, and local legislation.
• Ability to develop and maintain health procedures and documentation.
• Strong coordination skills with site management, HSE teams, and contractors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GLMS systems for health data management.
