Female Gym Supervisor – Onsite

About the role

The Female Gym Supervisor will manage the Female Physical Training and Fitness Facility at a KBR‑operated oil & gas site. Reporting to the KBR IFMS FM Manager, you will ensure safe, compliant, and effective operation of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and related training areas while supporting workforce health and fatigue management.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate visible HSSE leadership and enforce KBR Zero Harm and Life‑Saving Rules.
• Develop, implement and maintain risk assessments, task risk assessments and job safety analyses for all fitness activities.
• Maintain emergency preparedness, including first aid and AED readiness, and ensure clear emergency response procedures.
• Manage daily operations of the gym, functional training spaces, games areas, swimming and sauna facilities, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, certify equipment, and oversee pool maintenance.
• Deliver or supervise fitness programmes for shift workers and physically demanding roles, conduct mandatory inductions and briefings.
• Supervise gym attendants and fitness instructors, enforce KBR Code of Conduct and professional standards.
• Maintain accurate records of user inductions, equipment inspections and incident reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a physical training or fitness centre, preferably in an industrial or oil & gas environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, KBR safety culture and Permit‑to‑Work systems.
• Ability to lead a team, enforce discipline and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Excellent communication skills for user inductions, briefings and coordination with medical and HSSE teams.

Required skills

• Risk Assessment (RA, TRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) development.
• Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) and isolation procedures.
• Equipment inspection and preventive maintenance coordination.
• Pool maintenance and sanitation.
• First Aid and AED operation.
