F-16 Fuel Systems Technician

About the role

V2X is seeking an experienced F-16 Fuel Systems Technician to train, advise, and assist the Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) on fuel system maintenance and fleet health. The role involves hands‑on work in deployed environments, supporting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Train, advise, and integrate IqAF personnel on F-16 fuel systems maintenance.
• Support the IqAF fuel systems shop with removal, repair, inspection, installation, and modification of aircraft fuel systems.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, in‑tank repairs, and operational checkouts.
• Use technical publications, schematics, and specifications; train IqAF in their use.
• Recommend changes to improve maintenance productivity and efficiency.
• Document maintenance actions and support training compliance requirements.

Required profile

• USAF 7‑skill level (Craftsman) education.
• A&P certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in F-16 fuel systems maintenance.
• Eligibility for Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to deploy worldwide, including Middle East, and work with international customers.
