ERP Manager – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

About the role

A client in Baghdad, Iraq, is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance & Operations) in Phase 0 (Discovery & Scoping). The ERP Manager owns the programme from the customer side, covering governance, business coordination, quality assurance and acceptance of vendor deliverables, while the implementation partner handles configuration, development and technical delivery. The role reports to the Group IT Manager (technical/administrative) and the CFO (functional), with a dotted line to the Project Steering Committee, and coordinates with Finance, HR, Procurement and Operations leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead current-state process mapping across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, CRM and Operations, and run requirements workshops with stakeholders
• Define the future-state process design and prepare the project charter, scope and roadmap with phase-gate criteria
• Run fit-gap analysis and prepare the Phase 0 deliverables pack for steering committee sign-off
• Manage the implementation partner on scope, timeline, budget and deliverables, and maintain the project plan and RAID log
• Define data migration strategy and governance, coordinate UAT and manage cutover and go-live
• Drive change management, end-user training and hypercare, then plan further rollout phases

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
• At least seven years of ERP implementation experience, including hands-on leadership with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Demonstrated experience leading at least one full-cycle ERP implementation
• Multi-entity or group-company experience preferred; real estate, construction, hospitality or aviation-services experience is an advantage
• PMP, Prince2 or equivalent, and Dynamics 365 certifications, are a strong plus
• Fluent English required; Arabic strongly preferred
