Document Control Analyst

About the role

The Document Control Analyst is responsible for managing technical and supplier documentation within a leading energy joint venture. The role ensures that all documents are accurate, accessible, and compliant throughout the lifecycle of assets and projects, supporting engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Control, maintain, and organize technical and supplier documentation according to established procedures.
• Manage the full document lifecycle: submission, review, approval, archiving, and retrieval of both electronic and hard‑copy files.
• Produce regular status reports on document progress, approvals, and overdue items.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements; conduct audits of document management systems.
• Liaise with project and engineering teams to understand documentation requirements and timelines.
• Maintain databases tracking documents, correspondence, and project activities; generate performance metrics and dashboards.
• Analyze and improve document workflows, standardize templates, and support implementation of new tools.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to document processing, turnaround times, and accuracy.
• Train and support team members on document control processes and systems.

Required profile

• Experience supporting engineering and project teams in a document‑centric environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce document control standards.
• Proven capability to conduct audits, quality checks, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Effective communication skills for coordination across diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
• Database management for tracking documents and project activities.
• Ability to generate reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics.
