Deputy Maintenance Manager

About the role

As Deputy Maintenance Manager you will lead the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of a power generation plant. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor performance indicators and support continuous improvement to maximise equipment uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily activities of the maintenance crew, ensuring compliance with EHS standards and company policies.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, prioritising work to meet quality and safety requirements.
• Monitor equipment reliability, support commissioning activities and resolve operational issues to improve plant availability.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply‑chain functions to secure spare parts, materials and resources.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, analyse performance data, track budgets and drive risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in power‑plant or heavy‑industrial maintenance operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industrial maintenance best practices.
