About the role
We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The role supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily operations, ensuring high‑quality food preparation and service.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Follow menu specifications and maintain hygienic work areas.
- Control food stock and manage food costs within the assigned section.
- Prepare daily mise‑en‑place and produce dishes across the main kitchen and satellite stations.
- Execute instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain consistent quality and stay updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
- Lead and instruct junior staff in food preparation.
- Participate in buffet set‑up and special function catering.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, waste reduction, and cost control.
Required profile
- Completed professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course.
- Previous experience in quality establishments.
- Strong culinary knowledge and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Good English communication skills.
- Positive, dynamic, creative, and dedicated team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions.
