Demand Planning Supervisor

About the role

Al-Farah International Company – FMCG is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Supervisor to lead the demand planning function for its Baghdad operations. The role involves managing the full forecasting cycle, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring accurate demand signals to support supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end demand planning cycle, from data collection to final forecast submission.
• Create accurate demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and business plans.
• Continuously improve forecast accuracy and monitor key performance indicators.
• Lead S&OP activities, providing data‑driven recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to align demand plans with business objectives.
• Analyze sales performance, forecast variance, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare regular demand planning reports and insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of demand planning experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop and manage independent demand forecasts.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments.
