Data Processing / Data Management Assistant

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development Center is looking for a Data Processing / Data Management Assistant to support a large‑scale field survey in Baghdad and Basra. You will work closely with the Quantitative Research Expert, Field Coordinator and the broader research team to ensure the final dataset is complete, accurate, well‑structured and ready for statistical analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and organise incoming survey datasets from approximately 1,000–1,200 CAPI interviews.
• Check submissions for completeness, consistency and identify missing information, duplicate records, outliers and unusual response patterns.
• Conduct data validation following established quality‑control procedures.
• Communicate identified data issues to relevant research or field staff.
• Clean, structure and anonymise survey data to produce a final dataset suitable for analysis.

Required profile

• Qualified to perform data processing and management tasks for quantitative research.
• Ability to collaborate with research experts, field coordinators and team members.
• Attention to detail to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Familiarity with large‑scale survey data handling.
