Data & Analytics Engineer

About the role

First Finance Company (FFC) is seeking a hands‑on Data & Analytics Engineer to ensure data quality, build reporting dashboards, and support AI‑driven initiatives across its core systems, including ERPNext, a mobile app, and a customer portal. You will act as the guardian of data integrity, turning raw data into trusted insights for business and regulatory stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own data quality across ERPNext, mobile backend, and portal; proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies.
• Investigate and reconcile data discrepancies between ledgers, scoring outputs, and portal records.
• Propose and implement simple schema or field changes directly in ERPNext.
• Coordinate with developers on more complex data model changes.
• Design, build, and maintain recurring dashboards using ERPNext Insights, Superset, or similar tools.
• Translate business questions into actionable metrics and reports.
• Develop data pipelines that clean and structure data for LLM‑based systems (e.g., institutional knowledge bases, AI‑assisted credit/compliance workflows).
• Utilise AI tools such as Claude and GPT for data cleaning, transformation logic, and documentation.
• Handle ad‑hoc reporting requests from management and compliance functions.
• Document data definitions and reporting logic to ensure consistency and auditability.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or data engineer.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Experience with at least one BI/reporting tool (e.g., Superset, Power BI, Metabase).
• Familiarity with ERPNext or similar ERP systems.
• Comfort working with modern AI tools (Claude, GPT) in a data‑pipeline context.
